For the past week and a half I have been on a mini roadtrip to visit family and friends that I have not seen in awhile. I started my trip in New Orleans and visited my krunk friend Jonathan, then went to Austin to see one of my best friends John, and then came to Dallas to see my grandparents and other friend Marshall (see next post for pictures).

While in Dallas I spent a lot of priceless time with my grandparents. The past couple of days have been some of the most wonderful times with them, times that I’m sure I will remember the rest of my life. My grandma and I spent a lot of evenings sitting up into the early morning hours talking about life and relationships. She has so much experience and insight, and  having someone like her to talk with about different events or after conversations was incredibly special and helpful.

My grandparents have a very sweet relationship as you will see from the pictures. They are both such a blessing to my life. And besides, doesn’t my grandma look completely adorable? Not to mention those faces from my grandfather…classic.
