We have had the best time getting to know Nick & Alicia over the past couple years. Last year around this time we were wandering the streets of Charleston together and looking for the most beautiful brick paved street and most colorful window boxes for their engagement photos, and this year we watched them join their lives together in front of their favorite people. What a blessing to witness. They genuinely love each other and enjoy each other’s company, and that makes our job so much fun.

One of our favorite moments on the wedding day was watching Alicia open her gift from Nick before the ceremony. He had this big box all beautifully wrapped for her, and as she began to peel back the layers we quickly realized that there were about 4 empty boxes all equally beautifully wrapped inside and at the end was a little jewelry box with a gorgeous silver bracelet for his bride. It was so precious to watch her laugh at the joke he’d played on her– and watch all the wedding jitters disappear with each wrapped, empty box 🙂 Such a sweet groom!
