A couple nights ago I had the sweet opportunity to witness and photograph my friend Danielle get engaged to the guy of her dreams. It’s been a privilege to walk with her through this season of life– and I am looking forward to all that is in store for these two gorgeous, Godly people.

Dougan proposed to Danielle in downtown Austin, TX at a bridge famous for the bats fly out from under it at dusk. When they were just getting to know each other a little over a year ago, they ventured to this bridge. How fitting that he come here to propose? 🙂 After a wonderful meal where he serenaded her with a song he wrote, he walked her down to a park nestled under the bridge. Tucked into a quiet corner in the park on a picnic blanket, surrounded by people watching the bats, they sat and talked, and he asked for her hand in marriage. Anyone who knows Danielle, knows how much she loves Dougan and has been excited for this day—so of course, she said yes!
