We are so fortunate to be able to call so many of our brides and grooms our friends. Kristen and Tim are no exception to that. From our first meeting at Starbucks last year, to their engagements, bridals, and meetings at our house going over timelines and eating banana bread, by the time October came around, they weren’t our clients anymore, they were our friends. On the morning of their big day, we couldn’t wait to see them and celebrate this day that they’d waited so long for! They’ve known each other since they were kids in church together, but as Kristen would tell you, “he was basically Jesus,” and she was the crazy one.  And he still is like Jesus! But now so is she!  God has a way of working his magic in people’s hearts and lives, and when the season was right, he brought them back together, and the rest is history.

Elegant bridals crafted a beautiful dress together for Kristen, and it couldn’t have been any more perfect. It was classic, and simple, but had sparkle and intricate details that made it THE ONE. Crystal Atkins of Cucumber and Mint is Kristen’s best friend, and she did all of the makeup for the wedding party! I am telling you, this was one of the most GORGEOUS bridal parties we’ve ever worked with, but even moreso, they were so fun and kind. I just wanted to be best friends with them all after the end of the night. Even the groomsmen were awesome! The ceremony was at their home church, Vineyard Church of Augusta, and their reception was at the North Augusta Community Center, and The BBQ Barn provided all of the yummy food!

Thank you all for making it such a fun day, and allowing us to share in such a wonderful season of life!  We are so blessed to know and love you. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much on a wedding day, you guys are awesome!
