Happy Memorial Day!

John and I had a wonderful day celebrating our freedom and the brave men and women who have fought to secure it for us.

Our day went a little differently than we planned, but it was so much better. After photographing CSRA Crossfit’s Memorial Day workout “Murph” in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy, we had the opportunity to photograph the precious reunion of our new friend Laura, and her fiance, Trey. He returned today from his deployment, and we couldn’t think of a better way to spend our Memorial Day holiday.

Coming from a military family myself and having experienced my fair share of deployments, it was such a pleasure to share in such a special moment with them. You should have seen the smile on Laura’s face… well here… let me show you!
