Last weekend I photographed a concert for the radio station, 88.3 (WAFJ) The concert musicians were Matthew West, Josh Wilson & Jonny Diaz. It was my second time seeing Jonny Diaz (in a matter of days) but my first time at a Matthew West or Josh Wilson concert.

I have been to a lot of concerts– but Matthew West’s tour, The Story of Your Life, is one unlike any I have been to before. All of his songs were inspired, not by his own life events, but rather from stories his fans sent in of their own significant events & struggles. For those who have not heard his music before, I would highly recommend it.

Josh Wilson and Jonny Diaz played an incredible show as well. Josh Wilson is a phenomenal guitar player– his rendition of an acoustic Amazing Grace will make you want to dance and cry at the same time 🙂 All the while, Jonny Diaz’s humor comes through with songs like “Opening Act” and “The Chik Fil-A Song,” but the humor is quickly overcome by the power of his now famous song, “More Beautiful You.”
