It’s been almost two months since Mollie and Jonathan tied the knot, and we are still at a loss for words about this special day. There is no doubt that John and I love weddings. We love all the details, and the sweet moments, and just savor the whole day. But there are weddings every now and then that we leave and can’t stop talking about– and this was one of them. The entire day was Spirit filled, joy filled, emotion filled, and just plain fun… we are still smiling just thinking about it! Their family and friends were so wonderful, we felt like part of the gang by the end of the night.
The wedding ceremony was held in charming downtown Waynesboro at the First United Methodist Church, which is a beautiful old church with immaculate stained glass throughout the sanctuary. The beautiful summer light poured through the tinted glass and it wads mesmerizing! Mollie wore her mom’s floor length lace gown, with long lace sleeves and it looked like it was made for her. Her bridesmaids looked equally beautiful in the dresses from Jcrew in a various colors of peach, mint, and cream. Opus Flowers created some of the most beautiful arrangements I’ve ever seen at the reception, not to mention Mollie’s stunning bouquet and the bridesmaid’s and groomsmen’s flowers. Jamie at Salon at Barrett did all the girl’s hair and makeup, and she did such a beautiful job. Everyone looked gorgeous!
The reception at the Augusta Country Club was immaculate. This reception was one for the books, let me tell you. I don’t think we’ve been to a dance party quite as awesome as this one yet. Supplied with blow up guitars, plenty of food and drinks, a live band, and sunglasses, I think everyone in attendance was out on the dance floor at least once, and most people stayed there the whole night!
Mollie and Jonathan, thank you so much for allowing us to join you in this special day, it was truly our privilege. We can’t wait to see how God uses you over the coming years to expand his kingdom– because we know He already is. <3
Holly and Louis you are AMAZING!!! I knew from our first conversation that you were the ones I wanted to photograph Mollie and Jonathan’s wedding. Your spirit was contagious!! This night will always come alive when looking at the pictures you took. Thank you so much for capturing this night that was ordained, annointed, and consecrated.
