Carr Family

Oh my goodness! It has been way too long since I last blogged! I apologize for being remiss in posting. I promise, all of my shoots that I’ve done since my last post will be on the blog by the end of May for your viewing pleasure. My clients and I have had such fun over the past few months, and I am excited to share all the photos!

This is my first blog post as Holly Birdsong Louis! For all of you who don’t know, the main reason I’ve been absent from the blogging world, is because I got married 2 months ago, and had to move from Augusta, GA to San Antonio, TX. I’ll be doing a blog post of all the wedding festivities next week. I can’t wait to show you all photos of my special day. It was such an interesting experience being on the other side of the camera! Below is a photo of me and my husband and our wedding party. Aren’t they all gorgeous? Anyways, more on that next week!

For all of you who live in Augusta, don’t worry! I’m still working out of the CSRA, and travel back at least once a month for shoots in Augusta/Atlanta/Columbia etc. and often more than that. My next visit to GA on May 17th I have 3 weddings back to back, and engagement shoots, portraits and parties all in between! If you need photos done, just let me know and I’ll put you on my schedule! I’ll be in Augusta for weddings & portraits in the summer, fall, winter and spring! I’d love to photograph you!

A couple of months ago I photographed the Carr family and their new additions– twins Sadie & Nora. I’ve photographed them for several years, and it has been such a pleasure to document their growing family. Jeremy is the lead pastor of Redemption Church, and he and his wife Melody have been such sweet friends & mentors to me since I met them 4 years ago. Melody talked with me for countless hours while my now husband, John, and I were dating, and more when we were engaged, and then her husband took over and did marriage counseling & officiated our wedding! They are a precious, precious family. Truly, they are one of those families that I hope my family will be like someday.

Enjoy!
