On a beautiful day in May, I photographed the wedding of a dear old friend of mine from highschool. Carrie is a fun loving redhead, and was a breath of fresh air in school. She was in almost all of my classes, and we had such a good time together. We used to play games like MASH and ponder who we would marry and what our lives would look like when we were older. It was so special to watch her marry the man of her dreams, Jonathan Davis.

Their ceremony was beautiful, simple and Christ focused. It is obvious that their relationship is one blessed by God. The foot washing part of the ceremony was a stunning picture of their servants heart, and desire to put each other first. I am so excited to see all that God has in store for their life.

Now residing in Knoxville, TN — there’s no telling what path God puts them on, but together, I’m sure it’s going to be wonderful!

Congratulations Carrie + Jonathan! It was a pleasure sharing your special day with you!
